Categorization for filters like “Release year”

Let’s say the user wants to view all Switch games that have demos, and they want to sort them by Metacritic score. Simple enough. But what if the user only wants to see newer games from this list? They can use the ”Release year” filter, and that works fine, but it could be better. Imagine if that filter had a “Categorize” button. Pressing this button could categorize the current list of games by that filter. So instead of one large list, there would be multiple smaller lists for each year, one after another. All these smaller lists would still be sorted by Metacritic score (individually).
