This would make it easier to find good games for party night or for a co-op night in with my partner.

Indeed that would be a great feature! I can imagine following scenarios:
When I want to play with a group on one Nintendo Switch:
quality time with my son -> filter ‘’Number of players:’’ + “Offline:’’ + min ‘’2’’
family fun -> filter ‘’Number of players:’’ + “Offline’’ + min ‘’4’’
party night -> filter ‘’Number of players:’’ + “Offline’’ + min ‘’6’’
When I want to host a local Nintendo Switch party and everybody brings their own console:
filter ‘’Number of players:’’ + “Local Wireless’’ + min ‘’6’’
When I want to have online fun with my friends:
filter ‘’Number of players:’’ + “Online’’ + min ‘’6’’
I can help with the implementation! :)

YES! I have DEKU on my phone, and it would be VERY useful to have some way to filter out games that match my group of players. I have a large microSD with “so far” about 250 games on it. It would be nice to filter on 4 player and sort by ratings.

Figure I’d augment this request a little, after a few game sessions of trying to select the right games to play.
If you consider building this “feature”, I was thinking it would be most useful as a range for number of players.
Examples:
1-2 / 1-4 / 1-6 / 1-8 (support for single and multiplayer)
1-1 (which would act as a non-multiplayer option, which would be a new filter)
2-2 / 2-4 / 2-6 / 2-8 (which would tell you it’s not designed for single player).
This would make Deku a must have during game nights.

I’d love that and can also help with the code!

If possible, when implemented also make a filter not just for 6 games, but 5 player games. Because believe it or not there are strangely games out there that have max 5 players so they would be left out between the 4 and 6 player filters
An option “Sort by: Number of players” would be nice, if selected it should show the number of players for offline/online on each game
Yes, I would benefit greatly from this, as despite there being various sites dedicated to cataloging games you can play multi-player on and even local multi-player, so many of them tend to be horribly out of date with so many missing games and even have incorrect info for a lot of games (ex. - CoOptimus lists Smash Bros Ultimate as only 4 players when it’s able to do 8). The only 2 I’ve seen that have tried to keep an up-to-date catalog has been DekuDeals and PSPrices, but even PSP doesn’t list the multi-player info for every game, only DD. Having this option would be an overwhelming benefit for the 8th and 9th generation of consoles.
This would be the most useful feature for my friends and I. I constantly have to look for new games that are 4+ people Offline. Would be fantastic if I could just filter by number of people
Husband and I love playing local on ps5 and its difficult finding games that we are interested in, and ps store doesn’t have a filter for this. (We don’t typically like the obscure OR the AAA titles so YouTube, Google etc doesn’t help much, we’d rather just look through and find amongst all available games)
A filter shouldn’t be to difficult for your UX team to add, as you already have the info under each game info, right? 😊
