Sort Wishlist by “Distance to Target Price” (Notification Price vs Current Price)

?

Right now, the wishlist shows the current price of games, but it’s hard to quickly tell which titles are closest to the price I’m actually willing to buy at.

It would be really helpful to add a sorting option based on the difference between:

  • The user’s target/notification price
  • The current deal price

This would let users instantly see which games are:

  • Just above their buy price (almost ready to purchase)
  • Already at or below their target
  • Still far away from their desired price

A good reference for this is CamelCamelCamel, which allows users to sort tracked items by how close they are to their target price. It makes it much easier to prioritize buying decisions.

Suggested Behavior

  • Add a “Sort by: Closest to Target Price” option
  • Optionally show a column like:
    • $5 above target
    • $2 below target
  • Bonus: highlight items that have already hit or dropped below the target price

Why This Matters

  • Saves time scanning large wishlists
  • Helps users act quickly on near-deals
  • Makes price tracking feel more actionable instead of passive
