DLC hyperlinks back to Main Games for Physical game account preferences

Would you consider making the hyperlinks from DLC to a main game independant of the choice of “Platforms and preferred format” in the account settings? (choices of Physical Only or DIgital Only or All Games selection) [see photos for differences]

All DLC have hyperlinks to click over to the main games they are for, but these hylerlinks are always off/missing when a User’s Account Settings for “Platforms and preferred format” are set to “Physical Only” for any game types.

I don’t know that that really needs to be the case, as this hyperlink serves more of a webpage navigation feature rather than a specific content type specific viewing feature. The number of physical DLC-only releases is almost non-existent for the Switch and Switch 2.

As someone always on the hunt for physical games, I would still like to be able to easily navigate between the DLC for a given game and that specific game main game. RIght now, that means when I land on a DLC for a game and not having the direct hyperlink, I have to:

1. hylight and copy the main game name
2. go to the search bar and paste in the game name & hit enter to get a results page
3. scroll down to the last search option field for “Exclude” on the left bar
4. deselect the searchable prefferences of “Games in formats you deselected”
5. Now I can click on the main game

It doesn’t seem like much, until you are navigiating for while and suddenly you have done this step dozens of times not knowing there was a simple option if your user account preferences for games wasn’t set to physical games.

I suppose part of the problem is that digital DLC is tied back to the digital version of a given Main game within the eShop infrastructure, but as someone with physical games, it would be amazing to know when DLC for them is on sale as well, so I am asking for this quality of life improvement.

I would also note that the names of DLC seem to change based on the “Platforms and preferred format” selection type. When set to physical only, the full name of the game is shows as a part of the title. When set to All games, the DLC specific name is the title, and the main game name is now a part of the link below the title. I imagine this has to do with how the HTML content is used to make the hyperlink vs not make it depending on the user account preference selections.
